Today, 26th February 2024, the Belize Intellectual Property Office (BELIPO) has made its trade marks data available to the TMview search tool. The tool contains data from 76 participating intellectual property offices.

This is a great achievement for Belize and the users of our services since the tool currently makes available to the public 19.980 trade marks data from Belize. The TMview tool currently provides information and access to more than 120 million trade marks in total.

Since the introduction of TMview on 13 April 2010, the tool has served more than 126 million searches from users worldwide, with United States, Spain, Germany, Italy and the United Kingdom among the most frequent visitors.

The integration of BELIZE in TMview is a concrete result of the EU funded project called CarIPI, which is directed by the European Commission and implemented by the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO).

The Government of Belize, through BELIPO, is continuing to build a modern intellectual property system that values and protects the vibrant creative culture of Belize.
